Hey there!
My name is Dr. Reneé Roberts-Turner, and I am a healthcare leader and content creator with over 25 years of experience in nursing, leadership, and quality improvement. I am passionate about inspiring others to see what’s possible—motivating teams, advancing high-quality care, and transforming workplace culture.
My journey into healthcare began in high school as a hospital volunteer. After graduating from the University of Virginia Wise, I initially planned to attend medical school but lacked the confidence to take the MCAT. When I shared this with my advisor, they encouraged me to explore nursing—and that shift changed everything.
As a nursing student at Marymount University, I worked in multiple roles, from CNA at a nursing home to phlebotomist at a blood donation center. My first hospital unit was the post-cardiac catheterization unit, and I loved it. But once I was introduced to pediatrics, I found my true calling—and I haven’t looked back since.
Since then, I’ve served in several leadership positions across healthcare systems. I’ve earned a doctorate in Healthcare Administration, became a board-certified Nurse Executive, and am a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. These experiences fuel my commitment to developing leaders, improving systems, and ensuring every patient receives excellent, compassionate care.
