Reneé Roberts-Turner
Hey there!
My name is Reneé Roberts-Turner and I am a nurse leader and content creator with over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare and leadership. I have a passion for inspiring and motivating others to see possibilities, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in all work environments and improving workplace culture.
I was first introduced to healthcare when I was in high school working as a hospital volunteer. Initially, I was on the path to enrolling in medical school after graduating from the University of Virginia Wise, but to be honest, I didn’t have the confidence to sit for the MCAT that year. After voicing my concerns to my advisor at the time, I was convinced to start my journey to becoming a registered nurse.
As a nursing student at Marymount University, I worked many jobs from being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a local nursing home to being a phlebotomist for a blood donation center. If we’re talking hospital units, cardiac was my thing, but I was introduced to pediatrics and I haven’t looked back since.
Fast forward to the present, I’ve obtained my doctorate degree in Healthcare Adminastration and became a board-certified Nurse Executive and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. This has led me to be able to serve in various nurse leaders’ roles!
